New Year’s is a unique holiday as it’s the only holiday that celebrates the passage of time.

Perhaps that’s why, as the final seconds of the year tick away, we tend to become introspective.

Then we wonder: how did time get away from us?

And why did all of our hopes and dreams never materialize?

Inevitably, that introspection turns to thoughts of self-improvement and the annual ritual of making Resolutions.

We all do it. We swear to ourselves, “This is THE year” for transforming our lives and fulfilling our goals.

We are determined to keep all the promises  to lose weight, stop smoking, make more money, be more patient…just fill in the blanks.

Over the next few days millions of people from around the world will ask themselves questions as they figure out how to make 2010 the best year of their lives.

The following is a creative exercise for you to think about how to surpass your potential in the New Year.

In 2010, I’m finally going to__________________________!

How would YOU fill in that blank?

I reduced my credit card debt by $______________________________.

I feel great and now fit into my________________________________.

I have increased my retirement fund by $________________________.

I have achieved a number of goals to include____________________.

I have exceeded my own expectations by__________________________.

I’ve got nearly enough money saved for a nice family vacation in ______________________.

So, what did YOU write down? What are your aspirations for the coming year?

Are you ready to make 2010 the best year EVER?

Getting Rich book

Get your Free Copy of this Amazing Masterpiece…

Why…?

“The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way. Those who do things in this certain way, whether on purpose or accidentally, get rich. Those who do not do things in this certain way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor.

“It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects. Therefore, any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich.” Wallace D. Wattles

Do You Have Image of Failure
Dec 21st, 2009 by Russ
Walter Whitman ( May 31, 1819 - March 26, 1892...

Image via Wikipedia

The man, who constantly fails, has an image of failure.  Oh yes, you can use your imagination two ways.  Of course you can use any facility two ways.  The man is chronically ill or complaining or the malingerer in the army is a man with the image of ill health and weakness.

Whenever a man imagines illness or failure his subconscious creates accordingly.  It has been discovered that men who constantly fail, that they have an image of failure in their mind and of course, their subconscious responds accordingly.

Have an image of success.  You were born to win and succeed.  Every alcoholic knows that if he uses willpower or tries to force himself to give up alcohol it drives his further to drink.  Mental coercion, force or willpower won’t get you anywhere, but when you contemplate sobriety and peace of mind and imagines free and back at work, doing what he loves to do.  Knowing that an almighty power is backing up his mental picture, he frees himself of the habit and he is healed.

Walt Whitman had a marvelous imagination, he said, “when the mist filled the valleys, he looked upon the mountain tops, and when the mountain and darkness disappeared, he fixed his gaze upon the stars.”

I found this fascinating quote today:

The dream is the dramatization of your subconscious mind.  It’s not  fatalistic!  It is not written in stone.  You can change any of your beliefs of the dream’s outcome. You mold, fashion, and shape your own destiny by your thoughts and feelings!  Anything in your subconscious mind is subject to change.mindtalk.net, Mindtalk, Dec 2009

You should read the whole article.
