I want to share something that for some….it will be motivating… For others it will be liberating…
And for a good portion of you…it will be downright irritating… Often I have found that the truth does that to people.
Here goes…
Desire is NOT a strong enough reason / emotion for you to make changes in your life.
Don’t believe me…huh?

This brings up the critical question, if desire is not a strong enough emotion to get you to successfully achieve your goals, than what is?

PAIN
The greatest catalyst for an undisciplined person is pain, and pain comes in many forms.
Physical or psychological pain is often the catalyst for becoming self-disciplined when it comes to exercise and healthy eating.
Financial pain such as burdening debt can be the catalyst for having the self-discipline to work when you’re tired or sick, or when you’d rather be out having fun.
Marital or relationship pain that comes from a lost love can give you the self-discipline to be a better partner when love comes your way again.
Do I really need to continue?
Pain of any type is a powerful, empowering motivational factor in the change and goal achieving process.
