Puppy Training Biting – Is It Normal
September 2nd, 2010 by Russ

There are many reasons that can be given in terms of puppy training biting. Some of the reasons include agitation, play, as well as stress. If you are fairly new in the concept of training, then know as early as now that biting during training can be normal but depending on circumstances. Pups tend to be playful and they might see your training as play that’s why they bite in order to return the attention that you are giving them.

If you observe that your pup isn’t really trying to be playful then you may be doing something that is agitating or stressing him out. Observe your pups’ behavior carefully, if you think that your pup tends to become resistant with a certain training method, don’t force it. When imposing a new training style or method, take it step by step and slowly. Gradual training and consistency is the key if you want to succeed in your endeavor.

If you’ve decided to train your pet early then you’re on the right track. But be mindful that training your pup will require patience and time as they tend to be disobedient at this stage. Take it one step at a time, offer rewards for every right thing that your pup does, but remember not to be too doting as your pet might get spoiled. Be firm when setting ground rules, show your pet that there will always be certain limits to what he can and cannot do.

To succeed you will need a comprehensive training guide in hand. A good training guide will provide you with all the tips and tricks that you need to know in order to successfully train your pet. It should also be able to show you the pitfalls of training and what you should be avoiding. So be sure to get your hand on one first before you start.

Puppy training biting can tell you a lot of things regarding the methods that you use as well as their affectivity. Find good learning materials first. This will ensure that your pup will be thoroughly trained without having to stress or agitate him.

27 month old potty training success!?

I have been pottying training my 27 month old for a about 2 months now off and on. Well I decided last weekend that she is to smart not to be on the potty. I let the daycare know and we both started it a week ago. Last weekend was the worse. I would have her on the potty for up to 30 minutes she wouldn’t do anything. She would get up walk away and then pee on herself. I was pulling my hair out and thinking maybe she’s not ready. Well I am through with pampers. I decided that last weekend. Panties at home, generic cialis prices pull ups at bedtime and in daycare. That was that.

WELL this morning after all the heartache and the maybe she’s not ready I took her to daycare. She had some apple juice at home. By the time we got to daycare I was putting her coat up she was holding herself and saying I have to dodo. I said to myself oh boy she will be on the potty for 30 minutes and do nothing. To my surprise I put her on the potty and she went right away. OMG I am sooooooo happy. I told her teacher (which gave her a sticker) I told the director (which gave her a lolly pop for later) I told the cafeteria lady. I called my sister and friends. I am totally excited about this milestone that I thought I would never get over. For all you mothers out there stick with it. Your child will get it. God Bless and good Luck
The legacy. All you can do is just wait. Find Something to munch on. Congrats on the new Grandbaby. P.S. I hate jobs that won’t allow you personal time for these things!

Fathers too!
My 23 month old boy has been taking his pants and diaper off every 30 minutes for 2 weeks now. He will NOT go in his pants and he screams every time I put him on the potty. Well, somehow last night I convinced him that the potty is not scarey, and he went!!!!! Now, I know it’s not over yet, but maybe he’ll at least stop going on the floor now. Good job son.
By the way, my 18 yr old daughter is in labor at the hospital NOW, and I’m having trouble concentrating here at work (sadly, I cannot leave) any suggestions on what I can do to calm down and focus???
(Sorry, I don’t mean to steal your thunder, shareenh)
