Give Your Preschooler A Battery Ride on Car Just Like the RC He Enjoyed Watching In Toy Story
Jul 23rd, 2010 by Russ

My kid was pestering me to take him to the Toy Story 3 movie at the theatres. This reminded me of how much I enjoyed watching the Toy Story movies years ago. Though we watched Toy Story 1 and Toy Story 2 in DVDs, I decided to watch the Toy Story 3 in a theatre to enjoy the real effect.

After watching the Toy Story 3, my tot looked a little puzzled. He was curious to know why RC was missing in this movie. I explained the details of the movie and tried to clear his ambiguity. That’s when I remembered ride how much cialis should i take on toys; this was a perfect way to engage him.

I searched high and low to find ride on cars within my budget. I came across the site NewCoolToysOnline.com where they were selling various battery powered ride on toys. It was really hard for me to choose one from their vast collection of toddler ride on toys. They had the Toy Alfa Brera Sports Car, BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari, Porsche, and Jaguar. After giving it much thought, I chose the Toys Race Car Ferrari Battery Powered Ride-On.

This ride on car was really amazing as it had the styling just like the original. I was assured of the safety of this ride on car as it had an electronic accelerator that would stop the car when my son’s foot came off it. Now, he’s always busy with his new ride on toy. If you are looking for preschooler toys at affordable prices, your best bet would be to check out NewCoolToysOnline.com.

Hit the Waves With Battery Power
Jun 9th, 2010 by Russ

A generic cialis safety new, all-electric personal watercraft promises to be as environmentally friendly as it is fun to ride and competitively priced.(dell inspiron 6400 battery)

The Green Samba is a personal watercraft — what the rest of us call a jet ski, even though jet ski is a trademarked term — designed by husband-and-wife team Rodrigo and Kristen Silveira of Columbus, Ohio. Their company, Silveira Customs, designs and builds carbon-fiber components for everything from race cars to suitcases. Now they’re bringing that expertise in lightweight materials to the water.(toshiba pa3534u-1bas battery)

Personal watercraft bad rep among environmentalists. While phasing out carbureted two-stroke engines has greatly reduced the oil and gas leaking into waterways, the popular toys are noisy and still pollute. The Silveira’s solution? Go electric.

“We sensed that the larger PWC manufacturers were in no hurry to address these issues, so we took it upon ourselves to produce the first viable electric ski: a PWC that would be completely silent and emissions free,” said Kristen Silveira.(Acer aspire 3500 battery)

Silveira Customs isn’t alone in developing EV watercraft. Eco Watercraft is developing an electric jet ski it says will be available next year, but we haven’t heard much from them since they made a big splash last year. Last we heard, the Eco1 was expected to cost $32,000. The Silveiras are looking at something a little more affordable.

When they started working on the Green Samba, the Silveiras tried adding an electric motor to an existing jet drive, but it didn’t work very well.

“We learned that a lot of torque is required to produce the right performance on an existing jet-drive propulsion, and that much of the battery is lost in order to get the watercraft to plane,” Kristen Silveira said.

To get the necessary oomph without draining the battery or sacrificing performance, the Silveiras designed a new jet propulsion unit that uses one-sixth as much power as a conventional unit but doesn’t sacrifice performance.

Rather than focusing on a single, high-powered jet propulsion drive unit, the Silveiras developed twin direct-drive propulsion “pods” that maximize efficiency and allow for easier turns while on the water. They claim their watercraft tops out at 65 mph and the battery is good for three hours.

Beyond performance, the Green Samba has other advantages over its petrol-powered brethren. For one, it’s silent.

“The complete silence of the motor will be a great advantage for wildlife viewing,” Silveira said. “It will also open up waterways that currently do not allow PWCs. Having only one moving part (as far as the motor goes) will make for great reliability and low maintenance.”

Silent running broadens the Green Samba’s appeal. In addition to riders interested in low-emissions performance, Silveira says research groups have expressed interest in using silent watercraft to monitor waterways without disturbing wildlife.

Kristen Silveira says 500 Green Sambas should be ready by next year. No word on pricing until the third quarter of this year, but she says the Green Samba should be “affordable and very competitive with the existing PWCs.” For the sake of comparison, a stand-up Yamaha WaveRunner with a 2-stroke engine will set you back around $7,500.

Know More about 12Volt Battery
Apr 12th, 2010 by Russ

Before we go into the details of 12-volt battery, let’s briefly understand how a standard battery works?

A battery, defined in the dictionary, is a device that converts chemical energy directly into electrical energy. The first ever chemical battery – voltaic pile – was developed by Italian physicist, Alessandro Volta (1745–1827). The unit of measurement of the battery is Voltage (that is measured in Volts). We can divide batteries into two main categories: Primary or non-rechargeable batteries and Secondary or rechargeable batteries. Examples of Primary batteries are like Alkaline, Lithium and Secondary batteries are like Lead-acid, Lithium-ion battery.

The 12-Volt Battery

The 12-volt battery can be described as one most versatile batteries existing in the word of electronics. In many ways, the 12-volt battery is one of the most diverse batteries in nature. It can be found in various shapes, sizes and weights – sometimes as small as a regular AA battery, like the one in your wall-clock!

The 12-Volt battery is used in outdoor applications that require larger amounts of energy to operate. However, it is sometimes recommended to use a rechargeable 12 Volt battery if the product is being used very frequently. Non-rechargeable 12-volt batteries can become expensive if they need to be purchased often. Long term cost-effectiveness of the 12-volt battery can be determined by the product type and usage frequency.

Manufacturers, over time, have attempted to reduce the size of the 12-volt battery to a portable one to run applications like fish-finders. The 12 Volts battery also finds common usage in transport applications like cars, motorcycles, boats. Most vehicles use rechargeable 12-volt batteries as the electricity being generated by the battery is only required for ignition.

The sizes of a 12-volt battery can greatly vary based on the ampere (measure of the amount of electric charge passing a point per unit time) per hour that they must generate. They can be voluminous and heavy, like those found in vehicles or relatively smaller like batteries found in children’s toys.

The 12-volt battery has various kinds, suited to an application:

12-volt sealed lead acid batteries ideal for powering children’s ride-on’s or mobility use 12-volt lithium batteries for powering off-road electric vehicles and high speed motor-sport 12-volt solar battery and 12-volt battery buy cheap generic acomplia charger used to bring up solar-energy run automobiles or personal watercraft gel 12-volt battery used in refrigerators, navigation equipment

It is very difficult to list every kind of 12-volt battery or even the usage for each battery, but it is always considered as one of the product that is required in our everyday life.

Hot tip

Always remember that you can increase the life for a battery!

The life of a battery can be increased by storing batteries at low temperatures, like a refrigerator/ freezer! Low temperatures slow down the chemical reactions inside the batteries thus increasing its life-span.
