Simple Network Marketing Success Habits You Can Learn
Jul 30th, 2010 by Russ

I will tell you now that building a business takes work. Yes, you know that, but do you really. Are you struggling right now, trying to make a success of what you are doing. Do you realize that there are simple things that you can do everyday to create a successful business? The same tactics do not work for everyone, so first you need to figure out what your strong points are and what your weak points are. The sooner you figure that out the better.

It is important that you develop success habits now. It isn’t to late or to early, but develop them now because they mean ongoing success for the life of your business. The key to figuring out what these habits are is to know what your goals are. Envision them, don’t just say you want to be a success, how do you want to be a success. What part of your business do you want to be successful at?

Talk to new people about what you do every chance you get. This is the simplest thing that you can do and it can pay off really big. This is what is known as networking. Networking doesn’t just limit you to talking to people that are in your line of work, it is branching out. There isn’t one person that you will ever meet that doesn’t know someone that could use what it is you are doing. There have been a couple times that a client was referred to me by someone that I had met and talked with once or twice and that lead to this encounter where I just made a few thousand dollars.

Along with your business, talk about your product, seems to only make sense but many people skip this part. Thinking that talking about their business is enough. For example, say you work with a prepaid legal company. You can tell people everything in the world about the company and what it does and why it is important to have that type of coverage- but what do you sell. What products do you have that are going to fill a need for a person? That need can be real or created that all depends on how well you talk about your product and how well you know your product.

That is another key right there, know your product. You can be selling or working with the greatest product in the world, but if you can’t tell a person about it intelligently you just killed that product and any hope that you had from making a sale.

You have a down line, people that you brought into the business to help you make more money. What are you doing to help them make money and become a success in the company. You have to give in order to receive, and really there is no greater sense of success then helping another person meet and achieve their goals. I have worked “with” many different MLMs and Networking companies and all of those people were great recruiters. They convinced me to come on board- but when I needed help to make a success of what I was doing, they were no where to be found. So why would I waste my time trying to make a business work, where those people got paid off what I was doing and they weren’t there to help me.

I had no motivation to be a success with those people. I advise you take a moment and figure out how you are helping those people you brought on board. What motivation are you giving them to make the business work? Help them and it helps you. This may take some personal development and further education on your part, but it will pay off greatly in the end.

Yes, education and personal development. As that none of us are perfect or know everything, you can never turn your back on the opportunity to improve your self. Go to seminars, read books, read the literature that you receive from the different networking groups that you have joined. What, you haven’t joined any networking groups. I suggest you stop reading now and find some to join. You are missing out on a wonderful success habit that will build ongoing success for you.

Most if not all companies hold weekly conference calls. Participate in them. How can you work for a company that you have no clue about what it going on in. Yes, it may take a few moments of your time, maybe an hour, but that time can help you increase your business. If you are serious about making your business a success then you will take the time and attend those calls.

The only person that can make your business a success is you. You have to put in the time and the effort. That time and effort is ongoing. Leave no leaf unturned. Try as many things as you can to improve your business. Remember that what worked for your co-worker won’t necessarily work for you.

Discover Kevin Sinclair’s system for making profits regardless of whether anyone joins your network marketing business.

Has anyone had success at growing bush beans in limited space such as a hugh flower pot?

I have a private patio in an apartment, facing the Southwest location so there’s a lot of sun. I’ve worked with Tomatoes and Banana Peppers and I’ve had great success. Now I want to try Grean Beans. I’m in the midwest and I plan on giving this a try after the danger of frost has past in late April or early May.

Answer
Many people have grown beans successfully in containers.

Learn the Five Secrets to Creating Success in Your Life
Jul 2nd, 2010 by Russ

There are only five secret strategies needed to have success in your life, why have you not perfected them?

The secrets to success in any venture are about choices. Your choices!

If each of us has the opportunity to the same choices, why is it than some will be successful and others judge themselves failures or are complacent and willing to accept that their life just can’t get any better?

How easy is it to sit on the sofa and dwell on the mistakes of the past and blame others for the many failures that have been encountered?

What would happen if this was the attitude of the coach of your favorite sporting team? If the coach failed to take action to improve the team’s skills, my guess is that the coach would soon find themselves without supporters and probably without a team. Success in your life is no different; success is not determined by the circumstances of any your past failures, but by the actions taken to improve the current and future situation. Success in life means something different to each and every one of us. Success may mean having abundance in riches whereas to others it may simply mean to lose weight and be healthy. No matter what degree of success you are seeking the secret ingredients are the same. The first secret is related to developing a willingness to accept failures and by using these failures as the stepping stones of success, the second is despite those past failures, to develop and sustain the inner drive to pursue your predetermined goals.

The majority of people are aware of these secrets, but the biggest obstacles faced in attaining success lies in the process of implementing the strategies to overcome the obstacles.

To lie on the sofa does not take you outside of your walled square. To continually whine and complain is easier and non confrontational, to pretend that your body shape and health are perfect is easier to accept than the need to refrain from the apple pie and block of chocolate you quickly ate on the sly.

Success in life encompasses many different areas, including religion, politics, business, relationships, career and friendship, with most people developing an opinion at some earlier stage and maintaining that opinion throughout their life. Their understanding of the complex world we live in never changes. The third secret of success is about what you can give to yourself, the power of knowledge. Knowledge is the greatest of all possessions.

Success is a science, a developed skill, but many people refuse to move out from their self-sponsored burden and refuse to make a decision to improve their situation.

Here we have the most important secret to success, the real science, the science that scares the majority, the making of a decision to improve their own situation. The responsibility of making a decision is not a hard task, but it is a continual struggle for many. Developing this skill gives you control of your life, being able to choose the unfamiliar decisions over the comfortable are the keys to progress, they will unlock your door to success.

Come to terms with and start implementing the strategy of decision making and change in your life will occur. The change may include your beliefs, your attitude, your behavior patterns, but they all represent a change for the betterment of your life.

The fourth secret to your success is to design your success through using the strategies that incorporate the former mentioned goal setting and to introduce creativity.

Initially set your goals based on your current values, but as you develop changes in your values you need to update your goals accordingly.

Be objective with yourself as well as family and business, visualize your outcomes and then implement the fifth secret, that of planning your action. Action is the basis to long-lasting success. The emphasis you have placed on your new decision means nothing unless you step into the action. Don’t be a victim of that old saying, a decision without a plan of action is only a daydream, get into action, don’t be a daydreamer regarding your success, just DO it.

Don’t Let Obstacles Ruin Your Options- Create success in your life. Weight Loss, Money or Overall Life Achievements can be yours.

What are the success rates of inpatient rehab for alcohol?

My husband just went to an inpatient rehab. He hit rock bottom and voluntarily went. He seems to be putting every effort into it. I am just concerned that that success rates are not great. I understand that when he gets home he will still have to go to meetings and probably do some intensive outpatient therapy. How much do the rates improve for those that continue on for more therapy and meetings compared to those that do not?

Answer
Just a cursory glance at the internet could give you tons of statistics on the “success” and “failure” rates of rehab. And they would all say different things, some bleak and some optimistic. I would encourage you not to read into statistics because those based on other people and their experiences (and not yours, your family or most importantly your husband’s).

Alcoholism is a disease that could strike anyone, regardless of status, income, occupation, age, gender, race, sexual orientation or creed. There is no uniformity and each person’s struggle is different.

Inpatient rehab is a wonderful opportunity for a person to learn the coping mechanisms and relapse prevention techniques vital to staying sober in a safe environment. But inpatient does not help a person in creating a new life wherein alcohol is no longer a threat once he’s out.

So it becomes much more beneficial to continue on with groups, therapies and meetings so that he can begin to make said changes in his daily routine. At the same time, he will rely on his family in being open and honest about his recovery. Recovery is more possible when his support group is just that: supportive, and not shaming, judgmental or scared.

Recovery and the criteria of success is different for each person. For some, it’s 12 steps; others, one difficult cold-turkey-grit-your-teeth-and-bare-it step. Your husband will have an idea of what he needs to stay sober so that he isn’t triggered into relapse. Listen to him — he is the greatest indicator of his own success.

Learn the Real Secrets to Success from the Success Hit Parade
Jun 4th, 2010 by Russ

Lovers of pop will forever be telling you the order of their favorite songs on the hit charts or hit parade depending on your age group. You know there is a hit chart for success that if you stay tuned you can use it forever to keep you pointed in the right direction.

How many of you are tired of being told that to be successful you need to set goals, to remain focused and to implement the action necessary to reach your outcomes.

What about, you need to be organized or you need to throw out all the things in your life that you no longer use so that you can allow the new to come in. I relate to this suggestion very well, when I want a new wardrobe.

Sounds easy, but why is it that the majority who set out on this success pathway end up in a daze, just continuing on the same old route that they have been on. For some this can be a lifetime, for others it may be years, and for some they make one attempt then decide that success is not for them. All have developed the same negative thought pattern.

How many of you set the goals and that becomes ‘end of story’, nothing happens the goals just fade away on the piece of paper they were written on.

Why is it that Sir Richard Branson can take a group of street kids in South Africa and turn them into entrepreneurs with businesses turning over up to the equivalent of $25 million USD? Why is it that Oprah Winfrey can take a similar group of girls in South Africa and create similar results with her leadership academy? Results such as these are available to everyone.

Perhaps it is their need to succeed that is far greater than the majority, or perhaps they have been given the ‘Real Secrets‘ to success!

In the movie, ‘In pursuit of Happyness’, Will Smith plays the role of Chris Gardner who developed a desire to succeed so great that he could endure all the hardships and obstacles that were placed in front of him, even sleeping in a public bathroom with his son. You may think the movie portrayed an over exaggeration of his life, not so, his life is well worth learning from.

Take Anthony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Bob Proctor and Brian Tracey, just to name a few, they were not given their success on a silver platter, read their stories and a similar pattern emerges.

Take some other real life stories, such as Branson, Winfrey, Lance Armstrong and Warren Buffet. There is a tremendous level of knowledge gained from reading about their lives. The real fact is they will give to you the ‘Real Secrets‘ to attaining success.

What are these ‘Real Secrets‘ and are they attainable by all?

It is very apparent that not everyone will want large sums of money to prove their success. Don’t get sidetracked on the money issue, your life will be empty if money is your focus. Better to focus on having fun in your life, adopting an attitude that being successful is fun, the money you need for your future or for survival, will flow through the endeavors that you make and create.

The number one on the chart is the giving back to society what you take.

If you take knowledge, then give knowledge back, if you take riches then give riches back.

Next on the success hit chart, and this may on occasions change places with number one hit, is the absolute desire to change what you are doing, or an absolute desire to be successful with your goals.

Third place must go to being totally obsessed with a willingness to never give up, despite what obstacles of hardships you come across. Your desire and your willingness will become united as you continue with the attainment of each of your goals.

Failures occur because the desire and the willingness fades out or the wrong desire is attached to the goal, or maybe you don’t even know what your real desire is.

For a desire to be real you must be able to develop a three dimensional picture of yourself achieving the goal, then develop the ability to just tuck that picture away in you brain’s filing system. This is a simple practice that can be used for planning and achieving the goals that you set for yourself on a daily basis. This is the exact same principle used by coaches of elite athletes, they are trained to see, smell and feel the victory long before the event.

When your disillusioned with the readings regarding success being all in the mind, think of it in terms of that three dimensional picture you have put away, use it as your purpose and meaning to giving to you a path to a better life, perhaps even in helping to create a pathway for a better world.

Goals have been dropped to number four on this hit chart, goals are important, but a goal does not mean anything without the decision being made to give back something for what you received and for the desire and willingness to succeed. Goals are your strategies to reach your desire.

Goals are another issue that will bring about a halt to attaining success. The same occurs in a business situation. Business’s fail because they have no goals, or no strategies to reach a success level, your success level must have strategies.

Can’t write goals? Here is an easier approach for you to try. It has been taught by one of my mentors and used successfully by many. One large piece of paper or a journal so that it is permanent, write your desire at the top of the page, then list twenty ways in which you can reach your desire. Now you can write down anything that comes to you, the first ten will be easy, the next five a little harder and the last five you will no doubt find still harder, but you must have twenty no more, no less. It does not matter how ridiculous they seem at the time these goals are for you, they are what will keep you on the right track. As you are successful with the easy steps your confidence is increased.

Hit number five is definitely about your self confidence. By achieving the small steps as discussed in the last paragraph you are developing a higher level of confidence and a lesser degree of fear. Obstacles will occur, in this area it is beneficial having someone to talk to. Removing the obstacles or learning how to bypass them is where the coach or the mentor can work with you in planning the new route to take, mentors have traveled the same path, their role is about giving back the knowledge they have previously received.

Hit number six has to be about you, about your investing in yourself. Never put your self education to the side, education is never a waste it is an investment into your future. Take every opportunity available for training. You never know when you can give that knowledge to someone else.

Meditation is at number seven. Lao Tzu (c.604c.531 BC) said that ‘to the mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders.’ Meditation is for your mind, it removes that never ending chatter that accompanies your busy life, and it gives your mind time to relax, a relaxation that will expand into new and wondrous ideas. Meditation is the precious gift that you give to yourself. All you need is ten or fifteen minutes every day either of a morning or last thing at night and you will find that you will soon become your own wise counselor.

Are you stressed by the mere thought of success or scared of the criticism that you may get from friends and family, then use my final strategy, hit number eight, put music in your life. Research has proven that music alone, or when it is coupled with meditation or even brain wave therapy creates benefits including stress relief, increased creativity, and an ability to think and read faster. Brain Wave Therapy assists in balancing and restoring your brain’s sodium and potassium levels, thus reducing mental fatigue and brain fog.

By implementing your own hit chart or hit parade you can create some real fun in your life and reach the level of success you desire.

What elements contributed to the success of the Persian Empire established by Cyrus the Great?

What elements contributed to the success of the Persian Empire established by Cyrus the Great? What where some of the main features of this empire? Discuss the possible impact of Persian Religion (Zoroastrianism and Manichaeism) on Judaism and Christianity.

Answer
Basically the people who he was conquering, the Medes were becoming weaker anyway which was an element.

I dont think there’s a massive impact of zoroastrianism on Judaism or Christianity, I’d say it had a bigger impact on Islam some 1200 years later, and also Zoroastrianism is still in India today, the people who follow are called Parsis.

How You Can Learn About Success
Apr 25th, 2010 by Russ

Success. How do I define success? I felt that there is no clear definition of success. Each individual has their own definition of success. For me, success is the ability to overcome adversity in achieving goals. Success is the ability to achieve and accomplish things which I once thought was impossible to achieve. Success is the ability to find my path to great happiness in life. Success is the ability to impact others lives positively.

Ultimately, success is determined by you. I remembered almost 3 years ago, I could barely walked normally and there were moments where I thought that I am not able to play the game I love so much, football(soccer). But I refused to give in. I know back then that I must at least try my best to play again. With determination and perseverance to overcome the challenges, I was able to play again. As I mentioned previously, I was able to play in other parts of the world and achieved more than I could ever imagined. I am thankful for that. I learn that if you set your mind to succeed, you will reach the success destination. Even if not fully achieved, partial success is not that bad either.

Through my experiences and observing successful people, I have come to a conclusion that achieving success is not an easy task. I mean come on, if success is achieved through lazing around, would you define that as a success? Successful people are action oriented individuals. Talk less, more action. They thrive on challenges. They are problem solver and in trying situations, they focus on the solutions. These people know that the path to success is not a walk in the park. They persevere a lot. Really a lot. They do not let others deter their focus in pursuit of their success.

In the journey to success, I realized that there will be moments where I feel like giving up, everything seems to be against you. But I have also realized that it is around this time that success is approaching me. I remembered telling myself, just for it, life is too Short and I have nothing to lose. In fact I can learn more from the experience.

Sometime I have noticed that the term lucky is associated with successful people. I agreed that luck and timing play a part but I strongly felt that success is achieved through perseverance and well thought plan.
As Amos Bronson Alcott, an American teacher and writer said, Success is sweet and sweeter if long delayed and gotten through many struggles and defeats.

Through wonderful medium of the internet and business opportunity such as home business, it has open doors for people around the world to have opportunities to share, learn and achieve success. For me, success path might never be a smooth path but it is a journey that I know I will treasure through this wonderful life.

Success Training Learn the Tools for SelfMastery
Mar 25th, 2010 by Russ

Success training is a program that is designed to give people the tools to unlock their hidden potential and achieve the life of their dreams. People who enroll in success training do not like to settle for anything less than perfection in themselves and the people around them.

Let’s take a look at some of the attributes that people who participate in success training programs aspire to in their lives:

Higher income

Gaining the tools, strategies and skills required to generate higher incomes whether it is from their jobs or from their own business ventures is an important aspect of any success training program. Financial abundance is one of the many measures of success, but some people have unconscious blocks to the abundance that they strive for. Success training can help students identify and then resolve those blocks unleashing their unlimited potential to generate as much income as they desire.

Better health

Regardless of how much money a person has, all of their riches can’t buy good health. So, a requirement of any success training program must include the acknowledgement of the necessity of cultivating a healthy lifestyle. Eating a healthy diet, drinking lots of water, getting adequate rest and consistent exercise are vital to keeping your body healthy and strong. The brain needs optimum nutrition and rest in order to operate at optimum levels as well, so excellent health is not an optional component of your success-training regime.

Healthier relationships

Human beings are inherently social creatures and we live our lives in relationship with others from our family, close friends, colleagues and acquaintances. Being able to effectively communicate and relate to others and develop mutually beneficial relationships is another vital aspect of success training.

Breakthrough in personal power

As we go through or daily lives, we may bump up against apparent obstacles that stand in the way of achieving our goals. Success training can reveal to us where some of those obstacles might exist only within our minds. We may have, as a result of our up-bringing, bought into certain beliefs that are limiting our perception of what is possible for us. Once we understand that those beliefs no longer serve us and that it’s OK to let them go, we experience tremendous breakthroughs in personal power and we begin to achieve the success that we had previously only wistfully envisioned.

Deeper spiritual connections

A part of being a human being can be the knowledge that we are somehow connected to a source that is greater than ourselves. On an unseen, energetic level some of us yearn for a deeper spiritual connection to that source through which we live and move and have our being. Developing deeper spiritual connections can bring some people a sense of purpose and peace as they move through the world.

Success training basically works to realize the hidden potential which is locked up within every individual. When a person is ready to take a step away from the crowd and is willing to do, what other people are unwilling to do, only then will they achieve the success that others only wish for.

Are you tired of scraping and struggling to build a home based business? Maybe all you need is some basic success training. You are invited to visit, http://kfforwealth.com where business coach, Katherine Friesen, will share her formula for success using multiple streams of income online.

Can anyone suggest a swing training aid that works?

Like most people learning to play golf, I have an outside in swing path. I was wondering if anyone has had any success with a training aid.

Answer
Here’s a cheap way to help. At the driving range drink a water bottle down until it’s 1/4 full.
Stand behind your ball to find you target line.
Set the bottle down about 6 inches behind the ball and 2 inches on the outside of the target line.
Now you will have to swing down the line or inside/out to miss the bottle.
I use this drill with my golf team. Drives them crazy but it doesn’t hurt the club if they hit the bottle.
It will force you to swing to the target.
Swing 10-15 times at a ball like this and then remove the bottle.
