How to Connect Successes and Make More Success Happen
Jul 2nd, 2010 by Russ

Suppose you had a ready supply of success assets and didn’t use them?

Well, we all do and most of us ignore these assets with woeful consequences. We fail to enjoy the success they could and should generate.

These assets are success memories. And I don’t mean just business success memories. I mean any success experience of any kind from any time in your life.

Each of these memories still holds lots of good feelings. As you relive these memories, your mind naturally floods your awareness with a bounty of good vibes.

Even if the success event happened decades previously and has nothing to do with your current goals, you still feel a rush of well-being, satisfaction, and pride of accomplishment. Fortunately, the mind also combines the feelings of success memories into a powerful success experience. And we can use the powerful combination to generate wonderful results in the present.

You have probably heard “The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.” Suppose you apply this idea to your past memories of success?

What happens when you blend the vibes from past success memories and experience the result in the present? You see new possibilities, harmonize with undiscovered potential, and grasp new levels of confidence.

Here’s a technique I like to use when someone tells me “But I’ve never had much success at anything.”

Even if you’ve never closed a big deal, won the recruiting contest, or doubled your money in six months, here’s how to mine your success memories and discover long-forgotten nuggets of gold.

Recall three success experiences. These experiences do not have to be career-related or related to each other in any way except they are successes you have enjoyed in the past. They don’t have to be big, dramatic, or noteworthy in anyone’s eyes except yours.

The easiest way to do this is to call to mind times of your life and/or places of your life.

For example, what success experiences can you recall from childhood, adolescence, your 20’s, etc.?

Can you recall any from the home or city where you grew up, went to college, or lived at various times? What activities in the various times and places made you feel good about yourself and/or earned recognition that still makes you smile?

Let your mind recall these experiences. Allow your internal memory banks to present you with the sights, sounds, and feelings of these wonderful past successes that still make you feel good.

As they rush back to you, recall them as if they were actually occurring. Adjust your visual point of view to see the scene as if through your own eyes.

As you view these empowering scenes from the same perspective as they actually occurred, dwell for a moment on how they make you feel. Super-charge the power of each experience by recalling and re-experience them in succession.

Do this in any order that seems natural. They don’t have to be chronological.

Allow your mind to replay these sights, sounds, and feelings as if you were assembling a “highlight reel” of good feelings about yourself. And it does feel good, doesn’t it?

Notice how the total experience (which may last only a few seconds) is more powerful than recalling each individual memory separately. Recall these good vibes the next time your confidence needs a quick boost.

In this way, let your mind connect past successes and make more success happen now.

What doctor has the best success rate for fertility treatments for women over 42 using their own eggs?

I’m looking for the best fertility practice or doctor for women over 42 without using donor eggs. I would like to stay in the US but would hear about anywhere if the success rate is markedly better.

Answer
The best way to find the success rates for fertility clinics is to go to the cdc’s website- http://www.cdc.gov/art/ART2005/index.htm. I used this to decide who to use in my area. This is a report that shows all clinics in the country’s rates for different ages, ect. I’m not sure about out of the country, but they are by law supposed to report here. I would avoid anything out of the country unless they come with reputable references because you want to avoid a scam! There are many great docs out there so take your time and really look at this list and find some one you think will be good for you! Good luck!
And FYI- if your 1st cycle doesn’t work, don’t worry! I’m 28 and it took me 2 cycles to get pregnant!

Success Is A Choice Anyone Can Make
May 7th, 2010 by Russ

Success is a choice. This might surprise you, but it’s true and if you don’t believe it you have made the choice (yes, the choice) to journey through life without a great deal of success. Success is actually all about choice. You choose the things you want in your life, and then choose to do the necessary things to achieve your goals. You also choose not to quit until you achieve the outcome you desire.

Read the last two sentences again. Perhaps you feel you don’t really have a lot of choice in your life no matter what anyone says. What sort of choices do you have? What choices do successful people make that others tend to avoid?

The first most important choice for success is to decide to remove the obstacles in your life. A lot of the obstacles we face in life are internal. Low self esteem, negative beliefs about money or success, a lack of confidence in meeting new people can all hold you back from achieving success. If you find success out of reach, it is likely that there is something preventing you from moving forward in life. The sort of focus you need to break through limitations comes from a clear vision of the future you want. You can’t focus on moving towards a better future if your vision is blurry. Clearly define the future you want or the person you want to be, and then begin to focus on your dream. When you do this, you will begin to move toward your desired future.

The second choice for success is to choose to live as if you were already successful. In other words, fake it until you make it. Live as if you had already succeeded in the area you are focusing on. No matter what your current circumstances are, imagine them the way you want them to be. When you are sitting in your office, visualize it as if you were already the multi-millionaire you desire to be. When you walk through your home, imagine the furnishings and even the design that you truly desire. Make it as real as possible. Let yourself experience the emotions you would feel if you already possessed the things you desire.

This is a way of tricking your subconscious mind. If your subconscious mind thinks you are successful already, it will give you more success. Live as if you are already successful with the expectation that it will become real.

The third choice you need to make is to believe in your own success. If you consciously believe something, it is like a command to your subconscious mind to begin to work towards it. Look at your friends and acquaintances and consider how many of them truly have an unshakable belief in where they are headed in life. Would you consider them successful? Perhaps not. They may enjoy a good life but still not be successful in terms of the life they actually wanted. They may not even believe such a life is possible. On the other hand, you may know someone who has a firm belief in themselves and their direction in life. They may not be successful yet, but you can see they are heading towards their goals. Keep an eye on that person.

Belief is what makes the dream come true because it converts your focus into a plan that will make your dream real. Belief is more powerful than most people realize. Don’t underestimate it.

Strong belief generates emotions but most of the time we are unaware of the connection. You can choose to experience positive emotions that make your belief in success become reality. We automatically experience the negative side of emotions and beliefs when we focus on how traumatic and difficult certain situations are. By imagining how we would feel if we actually achieved our goals, and literally allowing ourselves to experience emotions such as joy, gratitude, hope, and happiness we move ourselves in the direction of really having what we desire.

Success is a choice. You can choose the adventure of pursuing your dreams with its challenges and triumphs, or you can live a life with limited risk but also limited success. If you don’t choose success, chances are your life will be fundamentally unchanged in ten years time. Is that what you really want?

How would you measure evolutionary success? Based on your measurement, which have been the most successful?

How would you measure evolutionary success? Based on your measurement, which have been non prescription cialis the most successful organism throughout time?

(Please answer scientifically based on evolutionary values)

Thanks in advance. Thank you so much for the community’s help.

Answer
Defining success is difficult. Longevity (non-extinction)? Weight of numbers? Total mass?
For longevity of existence -probably viruses. They have been in existence before there was cellular life, and they are still here. There are more of them than anything else – even bacteria have viruses.
By sheer bulk, the bacteria would outweigh all other life forms.By any standard humans can not yet be considered successful. We have only been here a few million years, much less than the 200 million that the dinosaurs were around. We don’t outnumber rats or mice, so we can’t use that as a measure. We would have to wait a few more million years to see how successful we are.

Another way to look at evolutionary success is from a genetic point of view. what genes have been retained throughout all the existence of life on Earth? Possibly the genes responsible for converting ATP to ADP, giving energy? Or some other energy pathway. Not my field, I’m afraid.

Success How to Make It Happen Now
May 3rd, 2010 by Russ

Down in your luck? Finding success elusive? You can have success in almost any situation you wish. You can make it happen. Success is no more than a state of mind turned into reality.

How do you actually achieve success and turn your goals into reality lets find out.

What Is Success?

Success is obviously a subjective issue. For one person success is one thing, for another, another. However, if you have some realistic view of any situation, and a clear goal you can find success.

Setting Goals

If you goal is to fly to the moon, obviously you are outside the sphere of realistic goal setting.

Set your goals at first in areas that are achievable. For example, getting a better job, finding a new partner, better friends, or simply making more money, set your goal and a time for it so you have conceivable limits

With set goals, with time constraints, you have now had to work silently and steadily in the direction of the goal. If you mind is where to buy cialis online set, and clear, you will come nearer and nearer the goal, and will soon achieve it. This is one of life‘s lesser known secrets.

Begin with small easy Victories

In your search for success, start with some easy victories. It gets you in the winning and successful frame of mind.

Pick something that is easily achievable but needing doing.

Do it, succeed, and then move on to something more difficult. Step by step you will become in the success frame of mind.

Where there is mind set for victory and success the battle is half won from the beginning. If you think you can’t do something, the answer is already evident. You can’t and you won’t.

Success needs the mind set of “I can do it. I will do it. I will succeed, no matter what it takes, I will succeed”

Repeat this words to yourself constantly. Remind yourself you are success bound, and you will be.

Success and Obstacles to Its Achievement

Obstacles can be changed to stepping stones. If you think of the obstacles as insurmountable, it will be. Use them as stepping stones and you will move closer to your goal.

You may need to be more disciplined, or more cautious. Be so, and use the obstacle as a tool for success, not a barrier from it.

Move on

As the smaller victories are achieved, choose more challenging ones. Keep to reality but aim higher. Armed with your earlier victories and a success frame of mind, you will approach the new goals with a better chance of success.

Do not give up or stop mid-way. If its success you wish, you must persevere. Without perseverance, and tenacity, you will find the road to success insurmountable. Develop your staying power. Move on from one point to the other, keeping your goals in mind. You cannot do other than to achieve.

Managing Set-Backs

Your road to success will have set-backs. These must not stop your progress. Go around them, take them in stride, but do not stop. If a carpenter breaks a nail he does not stop building.

It was a set-back, but there is a new nail, and renewed effort to keep going .Manage your set-backs. Limit their damage and move on.

Success is Yours

If you really wish to be successful and follow the guidance above, you will be. It’s a fact of life. Never give up if its success you wish.

Look to those great men and women that became successful. Their lives are models for you, and you will see they never gave up.

How come Jesus had less success with people who knew him in his own region?

Gospels tell us that he had more success outside his own region. U know the prophet in his own land saying? If he was who he thought he was, why did people who knew him from a boy etc not experience his miracles in the same way as those who did not know him? Does this speak to one having to believe before “miracle” happens? Doesnt this indicate that its all inside us anyway?

Answer
Thne Jews really didn’t want the Messiah at that time but another Moses to free them from the Romans!

Make Success Measurable A MindbookWorkbook for Setting Goals

Douglas K. Smith
Performance begins with focusing on outcomes instead of activities. In my experience, most people in most organizations most of the time do the reverse. They concentrate their efforts on the pursuit of activities instead of outcomes. As a result, they rarely set or achieve performance results that matter.

Today's performance challenges demand outcomes—both financial and nonfinancial—that must simultaneously benefit customers, shareholders, employees, and management. Therein lies a cycle of sustainable performance that functions as a framework to ensure your organization's goals are set, met, and balanced for today's business world.

Make Success Measurable! enables you to avoid activity-based goals that can go on ....read more
