How to Connect Successes and Make More Success Happen
Jul 2nd, 2010 by Russ

Suppose you had a ready supply of success assets and didn’t use them?

Well, we all do and most of us ignore these assets with woeful consequences. We fail to enjoy the success they could and should generate.

These assets are success memories. And I don’t mean just business success memories. I mean any success experience of any kind from any time in your life.

Each of these memories still holds lots of good feelings. As you relive these memories, your mind naturally floods your awareness with a bounty of good vibes.

Even if the success event happened decades previously and has nothing to do with your current goals, you still feel a rush of well-being, satisfaction, and pride of accomplishment. Fortunately, the mind also combines the feelings of success memories into a powerful success experience. And we can use the powerful combination to generate wonderful results in the present.

You have probably heard “The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.” Suppose you apply this idea to your past memories of success?

What happens when you blend the vibes from past success memories and experience the result in the present? You see new possibilities, harmonize with undiscovered potential, and grasp new levels of confidence.

Here’s a technique I like to use when someone tells me “But I’ve never had much success at anything.”

Even if you’ve never closed a big deal, won the recruiting contest, or doubled your money in six months, here’s how to mine your success memories and discover long-forgotten nuggets of gold.

Recall three success experiences. These experiences do not have to be career-related or related to each other in any way except they are successes you have enjoyed in the past. They don’t have to be big, dramatic, or noteworthy in anyone’s eyes except yours.

The easiest way to do this is to call to mind times of your life and/or places of your life.

For example, what success experiences can you recall from childhood, adolescence, your 20’s, etc.?

Can you recall any from the home or city where you grew up, went to college, or lived at various times? What activities in the various times and places made you feel good about yourself and/or earned recognition that still makes you smile?

Let your mind recall these experiences. Allow your internal memory banks to present you with the sights, sounds, and feelings of these wonderful past successes that still make you feel good.

As they rush back to you, recall them as if they were actually occurring. Adjust your visual point of view to see the scene as if through your own eyes.

As you view these empowering scenes from the same perspective as they actually occurred, dwell for a moment on how they make you feel. Super-charge the power of each experience by recalling and re-experience them in succession.

Do this in any order that seems natural. They don’t have to be chronological.

Allow your mind to replay these sights, sounds, and feelings as if you were assembling a “highlight reel” of good feelings about yourself. And it does feel good, doesn’t it?

Notice how the total experience (which may last only a few seconds) is more powerful than recalling each individual memory separately. Recall these good vibes the next time your confidence needs a quick boost.

In this way, let your mind connect past successes and make more success happen now.

What doctor has the best success rate for fertility treatments for women over 42 using their own eggs?

I’m looking for the best fertility practice or doctor for women over 42 without using donor eggs. I would like to stay in the US but would hear about anywhere if the success rate is markedly better.

Answer
The best way to find the success rates for fertility clinics is to go to the cdc’s website- http://www.cdc.gov/art/ART2005/index.htm. I used this to decide who to use in my area. This is a report that shows all clinics in the country’s rates for different ages, ect. I’m not sure about out of the country, but they are by law supposed to report here. I would avoid anything out of the country unless they come with reputable references because you want to avoid a scam! There are many great docs out there so take your time and really look at this list and find some one you think will be good for you! Good luck!
And FYI- if your 1st cycle doesn’t work, don’t worry! I’m 28 and it took me 2 cycles to get pregnant!

Success How Self Hypnosis Can Give You More Success
Jun 24th, 2010 by Russ

You can achieve more success with the help of self-hypnosis. Your focus on successful thoughts and positive emotions can yield more of the same. You can overcome failure and move on with focus on your goals. This process yields excellent results that you can use with great ease.

Ease into Successfulness

Your movement towards more success begins with your subconscious mind. You can take control of your thought processes, creating better responses that feed positive attitudes and core beliefs. This can work for you as you take on each and every task that you choose.

The process of using the subconscious mind is quite simple when you employ a hypnosis MP3 recording. This is a valuable approach that is easier than you imagine. Self-hypnosis is a viable approach to changing your thought processes on a subconscious level and this leads to better responses in your conscious mind as well.

More Success

Your ability to envision your successful accomplishments is a key factor in this endeavor. Your subconscious mind does not make a distinction between imagination and reality so when you imagine successfulness, your subconscious mind actually experiences the feelings associated with having more success.

This process leads to deep inner self confidence and positive self-esteem. These elements are integral to furthering your accomplishments in reality. When you experience successful endeavors, your behavior follows with confidence and assurance, making your achievements building blocks for your successful future.

It doesn’t matter that the accomplishments are imagined. Your subconscious mind believes deeply in them through the experience of visualization. This process can be repeated each time you have successful experiences in the mind and in real life.

Experience in the mind is the same as real-life experience as far as your subconscious mind is concerned. You can reprogram this realm to follow through with feelings of confidence and self worth. This brings about behavioral follow through that is consistent with these positive feelings.

Without effort, you manage to behave in ways that are conducive to success just by listening to hypnotic suggestions. This is a useful solution to your achievement goals and dreams.

Finding a Self-Hypnosis Recording

Finding the right self-hypnosis recording is a very important step in the process. Not all compositions are created equally so you have to make an informed decision. Following are some options to consider.

Duncan McColl’s brilliant recording found here – More Success – is a masterful compilation of hypnotic suggestions that reinforce your motivation and drive. You can envision successful experiences, brining them to your consciousness using this tool. Other outstanding selections are available here – Hypnosis MP3. How much correlation is there with team chemistry and team success?

I think a team that plays as a team is much more successful.

Take the Cubs for example… I’ll admit they’re probably not THE best team on paper (though they are in the top 5 I’d say), but they play extremely well together as a team and when someone makes a mistake another player always seems to be there to pick them up.

So the question is, do you think team chemistry plays a huge role in success?

Answer
definitely. If players don’t get along or don’t like their manager, the chances of failing are greater. When each plays as a piece of the whole puzzle then different ones always fit in and success is achieved.

Interview About Success Happiness and a More Meaningful Life
Jun 12th, 2010 by Russ

INTERVIEW ABOUT SUCCESS, HAPPINESS AND A MORE MEANINGFUL LIFE

The following is an interview by Darryl Mobley–http://www.darrylmobleylifebalance.com–featuring June Stepansky–poet, writer and creator of the self-help web-site A Different Voice–poetry, opinion and the exploration of a happier lifestyle http://home.att.net/~adifferentvoice/

1. From your perspective what is the most important key to achieving personal success?

Before this question can be answered, we must define what we mean by personal success. Many of us equate personal success with power and financial success, and indeed we must have enough self-esteem and enough financial security in our lives to feel confident that we are meeting our necessary responsibilities, but in my definition of personal success we must view our lives in all of its varied aspects. That means attention must be paid not only to our work and our careers, but also to our personal needs–health, recreation, personal relationships and  growth.  In today’s fast paced environment, this takes a special commitment to dedicate ourselves to planning and balance.

2. What are the common barriers that block a person from achieving success?

Again we must define which type of success we are seeking, because the two separate definitions of success demand different strategies and follow different paths.
Financial and career success demand that we learn to work hard, pick ourselves up from our failures and continue to constantly do what is necessary to move forward toward our goals, making success the first priority in our lives. If we make this choice then we can be confident that we will eventually succeed.

Success in one’s personal life has a different path. Our own private needs and our personal relationships must then become part of our decision making process. These more personal decisions may take time and energy away from our drive toward our financial and career success.  Each person must make his own decision as how to continue to move forward, but each decision that is made has its consequences.  If we choose career success at any cost then the personal side of our lives may suffer. If we choose our personal success path, then we may make less money and feel perhaps a lesser sense of achievement in our careers.

Therefore the barrier to achieving success is really our own conflict about these choices, and the difficulty in deciding what our choices should be. Once we make our decisions, we can then move quickly toward our selected goals.

 3. What are the keys to effective goal setting?

There are two ways that we set our goals. One is outer driven and one is inner driven. The outer driven goals are the goals that others set for us. They may be set by our friends, our neighbors, the society in which we live or the prevailing values of our time.

The second way we discover our goals is inner driven. It is an internal system which show us what we would like to personally achieve. It is this inner voice that whispers to us who we are and how we can achieve our unique potential.
Before we can achieve our goals we must know ourselves well enough to know what goals we want to achieve, and be sure they are our own goals and not the goals that others have set for us. When we know what we really want to accomplish, it is then easier to take those steps which help us to achieve those goals.

 4. What 2-3 core “things” do you believe are part of living an extraordinary life?

For me the extraordinary life is not so much about what a person achieves or what others think of him, but rather how he views his own life and his own achievements in terms of his loving relationships and his competence in adjusting to the difficult demands of living with strength and with dignity, so that he can say when he looks back over the passing years “I have been grateful for the gift of life. I have tried to continue to learn and grow. I have tried to have the courage to follow my internal honesty.”  This more examined life is an extraordinary life because it leads to more balance, more contentment and to the fullfillment of each individual’s personal vision.

5. What has life taught you that you would like to share with others?

Life is a marvelous, continuing journey. Every day is a challenging adventure with opportunities for new insights, growth and change. With thoughtful planning and good decision making skills we are more able to have some control over our days and to achieve that ultimate goal of leading happier, more fullfilled lives.

Do You Avoid People Who Are More Successful Then You
May 15th, 2010 by Russ

Have you ever:

? Felt intimidated by a woman more successful than you?
? Turned your intimidation into a reason to avoid her?
? Conjured up flaws she must have to make you feel better?
? Decided you couldn’t tolerate her but you didn’t know why?
? Or, all of the above?

We don’t necessarily hate highly successful men because many of us expect men will sometimes be more successful. It feels like the world is set up that way. But when it comes to another woman who’s achieved success – watch out!

As part of a new venture, my business partner Stacey Hall and I, occasionally conduct free teleclasses introducing people to MasterMinding and showing them how it works. More importantly we show them how it can help improve their business and change their lives for the better.

After a recent introductory teleclass, I got an email from a woman who attended. I’ll call her “Debbie.” She said, she’d love to join a MasterMinding group, but wouldn’t want to be on a weekly call with one particular person. I was stunned.

The person Debbie was referring to was a woman who contributed to the conversation appropriately. There was nothing off-putting, offensive or rude in what she said. However, it was obvious she’s been quite successful.

I asked Debbie to explain. She replied, “That woman purposely made everyone else on the teleclass feel ‘bad’.” I could feel the hurt and bitterness in her words. “I’ve worked very hard in my life only to get screwed over and over again,” she continued. In Debbie’s mind, any woman doing better than her is purposefully out to make her feel bad and take advantage of her. She was extremely intimidated and put off by the other woman’s success. I felt sad for her – because her “lack mindset” and belief will surely hold her back no matter how hard she works at her business.

She clearly has challenges with her self esteem and confidence level – something MasterMinding has helped countless people overcome.

If you believe anyone successful views themselves as “better than you” – you’re putting yourself in a lower position. They didn’t do it – you did.

Additionally, it will be far more difficult for you to be successful. Why? Because deep in your mind you may believe all women who succeed only want to make others feel bad and take advantage of them. Of course, if you’re a nice person, a person of integrity, a person who cares you’d never do that. You’ve just created the scenario where you’ve blocked yourself from becoming a successful woman. Your negative beliefs about the women you connect with who are successful effectively block you from achieving success yourself.

Have you ever put down another person and the only REAL reason was because they were more successful and it made you feel uncomfortable or jealous? Doing that, even in your mind, assures you will never enjoy success.

Imagine if instead Debbie said to herself, “Y’know, it might be a little challenging at first being in a MasterMinding group with a woman more successful than me. She might live in a bigger house, or travel to enticing places and make bigger business deals. But maybe being around someone who’s achieved more than I have can help me learn and grow.”

If you decide not to feel bad about another woman’s success (which is within your control) you can enjoy a wonderful, positive connection.

Several years ago I had a MasterMinding partner who was a millionaire. She was highly successful. She was extremely supportive and gave me a tremendous amount of support, encouragement and tips. I finally asked her what she got out of MasterMinding with me. We were both equals as women, but when it came to business she was clearly in the stratosphere. She told me she saw me as a person who was highly successful in relationships. That was one facet of her life where she had challenges, needed support and she felt she could definitely benefit from me. I was floored. Never assume just because someone else makes more money that you can’t help them improve their life.

It’s empowering and fun to be part of a MasterMinding group made of a mix of people from a myriad from highly successful to just getting started. With an open mind and heart you can and will benefit from all of them. Simply be ready to accept the gifts that come when you are happy to receive and you know we’re all blessed in our own unique way. We all have good things to share.

Any ideas for success in selling handmade crafts online?

I have many ideas for making homemade crafts, but no success at selling online. I have tried my own website, Etsy, and other online craft stores, but no success? What do one need to make a success of this at home business?

Answer
If you check out the Forums over at etsy, you will see that many of these people are working a LOT harder doing this type of thing than folks that work a simple 9-5 job. It takes a lot of effort to make a home business a success. Since you don’t want to spend a lot of money advertising, you have to do it on the cheap — which means putting in time blogging, tweeting and otherwise self-promoting. So you have to ask yourself — are you in it for the money or the fun? If it is the money, follow some of the good suggestions above about knowing your market and then work hard. If you simply want to make what YOU like and want to do, and the money is secondary, just focus on that and let the sales come as they will.

Know More about 12Volt Battery
Apr 12th, 2010 by Russ

Before we go into the details of 12-volt battery, let’s briefly understand how a standard battery works?

A battery, defined in the dictionary, is a device that converts chemical energy directly into electrical energy. The first ever chemical battery – voltaic pile – was developed by Italian physicist, Alessandro Volta (1745–1827). The unit of measurement of the battery is Voltage (that is measured in Volts). We can divide batteries into two main categories: Primary or non-rechargeable batteries and Secondary or rechargeable batteries. Examples of Primary batteries are like Alkaline, Lithium and Secondary batteries are like Lead-acid, Lithium-ion battery.

The 12-Volt Battery

The 12-volt battery can be described as one most versatile batteries existing in the word of electronics. In many ways, the 12-volt battery is one of the most diverse batteries in nature. It can be found in various shapes, sizes and weights – sometimes as small as a regular AA battery, like the one in your wall-clock!

The 12-Volt battery is used in outdoor applications that require larger amounts of energy to operate. However, it is sometimes recommended to use a rechargeable 12 Volt battery if the product is being used very frequently. Non-rechargeable 12-volt batteries can become expensive if they need to be purchased often. Long term cost-effectiveness of the 12-volt battery can be determined by the product type and usage frequency.

Manufacturers, over time, have attempted to reduce the size of the 12-volt battery to a portable one to run applications like fish-finders. The 12 Volts battery also finds common usage in transport applications like cars, motorcycles, boats. Most vehicles use rechargeable 12-volt batteries as the electricity being generated by the battery is only required for ignition.

The sizes of a 12-volt battery can greatly vary based on the ampere (measure of the amount of electric charge passing a point per unit time) per hour that they must generate. They can be voluminous and heavy, like those found in vehicles or relatively smaller like batteries found in children’s toys.

The 12-volt battery has various kinds, suited to an application:

12-volt sealed lead acid batteries ideal for powering children’s ride-on’s or mobility use 12-volt lithium batteries for powering off-road electric vehicles and high speed motor-sport 12-volt solar battery and 12-volt battery charger used to bring up solar-energy run automobiles or personal watercraft gel 12-volt battery used in refrigerators, navigation equipment

It is very difficult to list every kind of 12-volt battery or even the usage for each battery, but it is always considered as one of the product that is required in our everyday life.

Hot tip

Always remember that you can increase the life for a battery!

The life of a battery can be increased by storing batteries at low temperatures, like a refrigerator/ freezer! Low temperatures slow down the chemical reactions inside the batteries thus increasing its life-span.

This article is written by an expert at 12 Volt Battery. For more details on a 12-volt battery, 12-volt battery chargers, various rechargeable batteries, 12-volt replacement battery, 6 Volt batteries and more please visit us at: 12-volt-battery.com.
