12 Steps To Home Business Success
Aug 23rd, 2010 by Russ

I am going to be my own boss. I will be the one to call the shots. I will work at my own pace and time. I will have free time in my hands. I will spend quality time with my loved ones. I will succeed. I will enjoy my life.

So, you have decided to venture into a home business — where you work for yourself and greatly reap the fruits of your labor. However, there are some bad news and good news that you should be aware of.

BAD NEWS: Studies show that 80-90% of home businesses fail.

GOOD NEWS: Your business can be among the 10-20% that actually succeed!

How? By following the “12 Steps To Home Business Success.” And you can do that with PEP!

*P – PREPARING/PLANNING EXTENSIVELY

When you do decide to venture into a home business, the very next thing to do is prepare for it. Prepare a business plan. This will be the very foundation of your business. You can do this by following these steps:

1) Start with the basics.

What type of business would you like to get into? Would you be selling products, would you be offering services, or would you like to try both? In any case, you must decide on which particular product and/or service you would want to focus.

Have difficulty deciding? Here’s a simple but sure-fire tip: Focus on what you know and enjoy.

If you have a talent in writing and editing, you can venture into an editorial services business. Are you into graphic arts? Can you design/layout brochures, business cards, newsletters, etc. using your computer? Then you can get into desktop publishing.

Do you know how Bill Gates, the richest man in the world, reached the pinnacle of success? He decided to venture into the one thing that he loved — computers.

So, whatever type of business and whatever product or service you decide to start with, always make sure that you are familiar with it and that you have passion for it. The first will save you time, the second will keep you motivated.

When you are already decided about the type of venture you want, think of a name for your business. Make sure that it is unique, easy to remember, and professional. Of course, also make sure that it is significantly related to your business.

2) Gather your resources.

You cannot put up a business without a capital. This includes the monetary or financial capital, material capital (supplies, gadgets, etc.), and manpower. Do you think you are prepared to invest all this into your business?

3) Draw out your goals and set your mind into them.

Set general goals and specific ones. Formulate short-term goals and long-term ones. What do you aspire to achieve in one month, three months, six months, one year?

Visualize your goals. Have a vivid image of each goal in your mind. How do you see yourself a year or two from now?

Have a list of your goals on hand. Read your list regularly. Did you know that by merely doing so, you actually increase your home business success rate by 100%?

*E – ESTABLISHING YOUR BUSINESS.

This stage refers to the actual nitty-gritty of setting up your home business. This time, you are done with conceptualization and you are ready to get into action. You are now implementing the plan that you have prepared. Here are several steps that will help you establish your home business and achieve home business success:

4) Work on the legal requirements of your home business.

For your venture to be a legal business entity, you need to work on certain formalities. These include registering your business name, applying for a business permit/license, setting up a taxation system, and other paperwork. In this step, you also formulate a compensation plan for your employees.

5) Devise a marketing plan.

How do you create exposure for your products and/or services? Formulate a creative, innovative marketing plan. Consider the following factors/concerns:

Your target market. Clearly define your target market. This will help you decide which advertising and promotion strategies would be more appropriate to draw in your prospective clients/customers.

Your products/services. Of course, your advertising and promotion techniques will greatly depend on the type of products/services that you sell/offer. Make sure your strategies will “sell” your products/services. If you are offering graphic designing services and you give out poorly-made flyers, you will surely attract no clients at all.

Your resources. You cannot aspire for grand and complicated advertisements if you are limited by financial constraints. You can, however, maximize whatever resources are available to you to effectively promote your product. Take advantage of the Internet. By using e-mail, blogging, forums, etc., you can spread the word about your business in a flash!

Your uniqueness. “Same-old, same-old” will give you no gold. You can still utilize the most common advertising/promotion strategies, but give them a twist. Think of the most creative ways to catch — and hold! — your customers’ attention. Make offers they can’t resist.

6) Formulate a Daily Method of Operation (DMO).

Make sure that your Daily Method of Operation is practicable, realistic, and goal-oriented. Set specific things to be done during specific hours. Set your priorities for each day. Make sure that such tasks can really be done and that they are done for the purpose of reaching your goals.

7) Manage your time effectively.

Although you practically have time in your own hands and you are your own boss, it does not mean that you can sit back and relax all you want. In fact, you must be more cautious about spending your time because your home business success depends on you — the time and efforts that you commit to your venture.

*P – POWERING UP.

Your home business is already established based on your plan. Can you now just relax and watch the cash flowing in? Of course not! Maintaining a successful home business entails exactly that — “maintenance.” You need to continue working for your home business success. Here are some steps to power up your home business:

8) Aim for your personal development.

How do you develop your personality and how can this help you achieve home business success? Consider the following ways:

Be educated. Continue learning about your business, as well as about yourself. Participate in meaningful seminars and workshops. Read a lot, especially the stories of successful people. See what you can learn from any situation that you get into. Make each day a learning experience.

Be motivated. Read inspirational stories. Listen to motivational news.

Be sociable. Of course, you need to interact with other people; otherwise, you cannot do business with them. But besides that and more so, you need to socialize with other people and learn from them. Exchange tips with them. Learn from their mistakes and be inspired by their triumphs.

Be an inspiration. Aim for your personal growth and inspire others. If you want to see positive changes in your home business or your financial life, you should first strive to achieve inner growth. Grow from within and develop the without as well.

9) Develop the desirable or must-have traits for home business success.

In connection with step number 8, here are other traits that you should develop for you to achieve success in your home business:

The 3 P’s – Patience, Persistence/Perseverance, Passion

The 3 D’s – Desire, Discipline, Determination

The 3 C’s – Courage, Confidence, Consistency

10) Take care of your health.

This looks too simple, but it is very important in any business endeavor and many people tend to take it for granted. How can you work on your business and attain success if your physical being is poor? Eat a balanced diet. Exercise regularly. Monitor your stress level. Stay physically fit and enjoy your home business feat!

11) Have a balanced life.

Your home business success will not be as meaningful if you do not have success in your personal life. Do not surrender all of yourself to your business. Even Bill Gates takes a week of rest and solitude every month. Have that needed rest. Spend quality time with your loved ones. You will see that as you rejuvenate yourself, you will be more productive and even more prepared to face the various challenges that your home business may pose. Take time to enjoy life, for that, indeed, is the very purpose of your financial success!

12) Have the right mindset.

Do your best and believe that you can and will succeed. Never give up. If Thomas Alva Edison quit when he failed after thousands of trials, we wouldn’t be enjoying the benefits of the electric light bulb today. As the great inventor aptly put it: “Many of life‘s failures are done by people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”

Yes, you can venture into a home business and enjoy your life. Just follow the “12 Steps To Home Business Success“!

How else is success measured besides just financial?

I remember having a friend say success isn’t only or just measured in financial. What did he mean by that? How else can success be mesured then?

Answer
Success in life is measured by happiness. There are more important things in life than money. You have to evaluate what is it that makes you happy in the long run. Having a $200,000 annual income but no relationships with family/friends can be depressing.

5 Steps to Achievement – to Explode your Personal and Business Success
Aug 15th, 2010 by Russ

Have these happened to you?

1) You attended training / education programs (seminars, workshops, tele-info-products, etc.) – with the intention of implementing your learnings and so be able to grow and succeed…

2) Or, you had great ideas or intentions which you were absolutely sure that IF they were implemented they would help your professional growth or your business growth …

But … for some reason or the other you have not been able to really put into action these learnings or ideas. The result? You did not get high returns on all the dollars spent on learning. Also, opportunities to improve your success and personal growth or professional growth or business growth were LOST!

Given below are 5 steps to success – from intention to implementation – they will help you EXPLODE your success and growth:

1. Understand Why We Don’t Implement Our Intentions

Why are we not able to put into action our intentions? Why do we so easily let our opportunities of growth pass us by?

One, BUSYNESS. Though we want to, we may not be able to find the time to do what we wanted to do.

Two, PROCRASTINATION. The feeling that we can do it some other time. The only problem is that the “later” or “some other time” somehow never seem to arrive.

Three, CLASHING PRIORITIES. We seem to be pressed with so many “urgent” things that clamor for our attention. And slowly, slowly, slowly (and sometimes may not be so very slowly) other urgent tasks push these intentions further and further into the background.

Four, fear, feeling of INCAPABILTY, FEAR, BEING OVERWHELMED, … and, there could be so many other reasons…

These ARE in fact real challenges we face. But remember, in spite acomplia rimonabant – buy acomplia online without a prescription of all these, we CAN succeed!!!

2. Understand the Foundation of Success

How can you get started on the path to turning intention to implementation? Think about this for a minute …

In 1953, there was a study done of Yale graduates. A survey was carried out, and it was found that only 3% of those surveyed had clear written down goals for life. Twenty years later, the same people were surveyed. This study threw out an extremely important analysis. The study found that …

Twenty years after the initial survey about goals, the 3% who had clear written down goals for life had greater assets than all the rest of the 97% put together.

Amazing!!!

That Yale study’s result is eye opening.

So, what is our take-away from this study?

It sometimes sounds too simple to be true. But the fact remains, that to succeed (the foundation of success), it is VERY, VERY important to WRITE DOWN your intentions and goals clearly.

3. Understand the Mechanics of a Simple Success Story

Why did the 3% succeed and not the 97%? They succeeded because till their goals were completed successfully, they had something they could track against, could compare against. They could track their progress against their WRITTEN DOWN goals.

Stephen Covey gives the example of an aircraft in flight, in his bestselling book “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”.

Let’s say a flight is about to take off from JFK Airport, New York to O’Hare Airport, Chicago. Before it takes off, a flight plan is prepared for the flight. The flight plan specifies for every minute of the flight from take off to landing what the direction, the speed, the altitude (and other such parameters) of the plane would be. For example, one could know at the sixteenth minute of the flight, at what altitude it would be, at what speed it would be traveling, in what the direction the plane would be facing.

However, there is a very interesting fact we need to note. It was found that when actual measurements were done, for more than 90% of the time, a typical flight was actually NOT at the speed, direction or altitude it was supposed to be at. Due to unexpected factors such as air pockets, wind speeds and so on, the plane was not where it actually should have been most of the time of the flight.

Shocked??? I was too. But in spite of this, although for most part of the flight it was “technically” not actually traveling as per the flight plan, the plane actually DOES land at the destination.

The result? SUCCESS in achieving the goal of reaching the target destination!

4. Understand Why This Success Happened

How did this success happen? This is because:

1) There was a flight plan (similar to the written down goals of the 3%)

2) Based on the actual planned target destination, the plane made small corrections on an ongoing basis, either by the plane’s auto-pilot facility or through manual actions taken by the pilot.

So, the plane is back on track, and ultimately reaches its planned destination.

5. Continously Implement the Simple 2-Pronged Approach to Success

To succeed, implement the two simple, but extremely effective steps we saw above, and success will DEFINITELY be yours! Remember, to achieve lasting success, you need to repeatedly do these two simple, powerful steps on an ongoing basis in every area in which you want to achieve success.

First, WRITE DOWN your intentions.

Take some time to WRITE DOWN what goals you want to achieve. Let me repeat this, because this is so simple, yet so very critical in achieving success. Please take a few minutes to WRITE DOWN the goals you want to achieve.

With written down goals, although you may go off track, you have something to track against, so that you can make sure that you reach your intended action, intended destination. Without written down goals, achieving success has a much, much lower, and almost zero likelihood.

Second, TRACK your progress till you achieve the results you planned for.

After you have written down goals, you need to track to make sure that you implement your goals. Please note that there are two types of goals/actions that one normally has – one, a change of behavior. An example would be “not to react negatively when someone is negative with me”, or two, a specific goal to be achieved by a particular target date. An example would be “send out a report in the next 3 weeks on how the team productivity can be improved”. Tracking includes making corrections to your goals and planned actions as you go along so that you are able to handle problems (such as air pockets in the example of the flight) on the way.

In summary, to guarantee your success, you need to implement two simple but effective steps – of first writing down your intentions and planned actions, and then, second, till they are completed, of tracking them and making corrections as required.

10 Steps to Christian Success
Jul 30th, 2010 by Russ

3) Develop a “progress plan” for each of your areas of top success priority. When you look at your life six months from now, especially in these areas of success priority, you should be further along and better adapted in each of these areas than you are today. Look back six months ago. Have you improved in each of your success priority areas? If not, you need to take action. Now!

4) Find a christian success mentor. This success mentor should be someone who can be concerned primarily for your personal growth in these areas of success priority. This should not be someone who is an “equal” with you—someone who also confides in you. This should be a “one-way” street. They should be able to listen to your success priorities, help you develop a game plan for meeting them, and be able to criticize you when you aren’t following your game plan. Because of that, they should probably not be someone with whom you are close emotionally, like a best friend or spouse. They should be a more neutral party, perhaps someone from a small group class at church or someone recommended to you by your pastor.

5) Break each of your success priorities down into individual goal steps. These “steps” should be small enough that you can focus on that one step at a time and they shouldn’t be too hard to accomplish individually, and yet when you have completed all of the steps you have gained significant ground in your priority for the given period, e.g. six months.

6) Write down all of your success priorities and your goal steps for accomplishing them. Leave room next to each goal step to write the date you started the goal step and the date you finished it. At the end of the six months (and during it too) you will be able to specifically track your progress.

7) Eliminate unnecessary things in your life which do not help you accomplish your success priorities. Try unplugging the TV three nights a week until your success priorities are accomplished. Have an “email free” day of the week. Take Sunday off from everything. If the telephone is an incessant nuisance, turn it off two nights a week.

8) Evaluate your rest…are you getting enough sleep? What can you do to get more sleep? What about recreation (non-TV)? Are you walking, hiking, reading, meeting with friends regularly? Are you spending enough time with your family without interruptions by the phone or work? Do what it takes to get rest and recreation and include the family in this step.

9) Evaluate your success regularly. There isn’t much that substitutes for assessing your progress last week and making goals for the coming week. Sure, some weeks you will fall short, but in others you will easily meet your personal success expectations. As you follow these 10 steps, setting success priorities, making goal steps, and following through on all of it will get easier.

10) Just do it! Start somewhere, start today! Don’t just close this page and forget all this! You took the time to read this; if you do nothing with it you will continue to fall short of your own personal expectations.

What are the important points to remember for success?

Success is very important in everybody’s life. Hence I would like to get more tips on that. And any site from which I can cialis coupon get more information on this.

Answer
Find something you love to do that seems worthwhile to you. Do it superbly well.

You can gain moderate success by simply doing whatever you’re doing well. Keeping your brain engaged, and keeping the big picture in mind — what is this FOR — both immediately, and in the long run?

Many people sort of mindlessly do their jobs, failing to notice when something’s not right, failing to keep the purpose of what they’re doing in mind, letting things fall through the cracks. If you learn to think and communicate clearly, get the details right, and always keep the larger purpose in mind, you’ll stand out from the crowd.

3 Steps to Home Business Success
Jul 6th, 2010 by Russ

In these days of economic and employment uncertainty more and more people are looking for ways to achieve home business success.  Every day people are presented with different business opportunities, and every day people try and fail at these businesses.  The thing is, it is not always the business opportunity that was the problem.  Many people fail at succeeding in good business models because they do not understand what it takes to be successful.

Achieving home business success is not a deep, well guarded secret, but it does not happen by accident either.  There are some things that you have to understand before you begin that will save you a lot of time and money in the long run.  Understanding what it takes up front will make your chances of success much greater.

Know Your Business

While successful business people may not have known all of the ins and outs of their business before they began, you can bet that the majority of them had a good understanding of how the business operated.  They understood what it was going to take to get them to where they wanted to be.

While it might not be critical to understand everything about the business opportunity up front, it will certainly shorten the length of time before you ultimately achieve success.  One way or another you will have to know your business.  The question is; will you know what you need to know before you begin, or will you have to learn on the job?  The more you know before you begin, the shorter your learning curve will be.

Have a Plan, and Follow It

The next step is to make sure you have a plan, and that you stick to the plan.  It is easy to get distracted in business.  You have everything moving in one direction, and before long you find that things have gotten off course.  To prevent that from happening you need to have a plan in writing, and to refer to that plan as often as you can.

That is not to say that your plan has to be written in stone, and that it cannot change.  It does mean that if circumstances require that you make a change, then you will need to make a plan for that change.

Success in business is not random.  Success happens because someone planned for that success, and they followed their plan.

Be Consistent

There are many different paths you can follow that will lead to your success, but you cannot take every path.  If you want to get where you are going you cannot be constantly changing directions.  You need to go in one cialis canadian pharmacy direction, and continue to move in that same direction until you reach your goal.

Many times people fail in business not because they were following a faulty plan, but because they were not consistent in how they implemented their plan.  They were on the right path, but they quit too soon.

Home business success is not a myth, and it is not a big secret.  It takes planning, consistent effort, and understanding.  With those pieces in place, you will achieve success.

How do you see spirituality and the drive to success go together?

I noticed that being more spiritual lessens the drive to succeed in worldly endeavors. If you begin to develop more compassion and see yourself as one with all others, the need to stand out and get ahead seems to vanish. But to create something of value and something outstanding may still be desirable.

How do you see spirituality and the drive to success go together?

Answer
What if I’m driven to be a spiritual success?

Lovebird Training 3 Very Important Steps to Train a Lovebird Successfully
Jul 6th, 2010 by Russ

For lovebird training, there are 3 very important steps to follow in order to be successful. A lot of bird owners aren’t aware of a parrots potential, especially those that own a parrot that doesn’t typically learn to talk. Lovebirds are able to learn many things though, and by spending time with them regularly, you can end up with a bird that knows far more than just how to sit in a cage.

1. Favorite Treat: As with any pet, positive reinforcement works best. With birds, having their favorite treat on hand will increase the chances for success when teaching them a new trick. Smaller birds love millet, medium size birds like sunflower seeds and larger parrots may even prefer nuts; it is important to learn what treat your bird likes the best and have that ready for when they have done what you’ve asked.

2. Reward Often: Treat giving can’t be overdone; whether you choose food or love, give your bird a reward whenever they have done something successfully. Reward even the smallest desired behavior and your bird will quickly associate the two together. If you ask your bird to wave and they lift their foot, hand over the treats and congratulate them with a “good bird”, or whatever term of endearment you choose.

3. Consistency: Birds are the same as any animal you are trying to train and consistency is incredibly important if you want to successfully train your lovebird. Have a specific time set aside each day that is “training” time and have your treats on hand. If your bird is starting to use props, have all of those items ready to go too. Handling your lovebird everyday at first is very important, gaining trust and establishing a training cialis trial pack routine will help move the process along quickly. Your bird will probably even start to anticipate your time together.

In this article we talked about lovebird training and 3 steps you can take to successfully train a lovebird. Always have their favorite treat ready, reward their good behavior often and be consistent. Pretty soon your lovebird will be able to not only come to you on demand, but it will know some fun tricks like how to wave, spin or even how to go bowling.

How to earn Big Success when training in 24/7 mode.(ps2)?

can anyone teach me without short form word.
i want to know how to get Big Success on Excercise training mode (charisma, strength, hardcore, stamina…etc)

Answer
You have to upgrade your skills i.e. michrophone and on camera, that way when you do movie hero or villain, you can get big success. It’s easier if you use an already high rated star, like Batista or John Cena, because their training skills are already in the 90s.

When your on camera skills are all the way up to 100, if you do Movie Villain, you can make as much as $18,000 for doing it. It’s fatigues you alot, so make sure your guy gets rest before the next match or it would be harder to win.

Most of the big Successes are random, cause I tried doing movie Villain twice in a row, and failed right after I got big success.
